Class Start Time:  8:00 AM – Users may log in early to test connection. Audio will be muted on entry.

How to access:  This class will be offered on the  ZOOM video conferencing platform.  ZOOM is accessible on a cell phone, iPad or tablet, or on your personal computer (either mac or pc).  Classes are delivered via video, so you will need to have a camera, microphone and speakers to participate. Luckily, most cell phone, tablets, and laptops come with those features built in.

If you choose to participate via your phone or tablet, you may download the Zoom Cloud Meetings App (https://zoom.us/download).  Please note that you do not need set up a ZOOM account to participate. Just download App, once it opens click “Join Meeting” button.

You will need to register for the class no later than Friday, April 24th, 2020 to participate.

To register, go to https://zoom.us/meeting/register/uJEtdOqhpz8tfMaUEyleu9un1ILvLSPgxw .  PLEASE NOTE: Please supply all requested information. If you do not have a particular license requested, enter “NA”.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

PLEASE NOTE:    - Log into meeting at least 15 minutes before start time
                              - If you log in later than 8AM, your registration will not be counted.
                              - You must attend the entire seminar. Please note that this is tracked.
                              - Leave camera on during entire course.
                              - Do not open another window or shift between apps during seminar.

Here are the 3 ways that you can join the meeting:

  5.      Click on Continue.
  6.      Click Join with Video.

From the Zoom website:

  1.      Go to the zoom website (usq.zoom.us)
  2.      Click on Join a Meeting
  3.      Enter Meeting ID. Click Join.
  4.      Click “Open Zoom Meetings” from the drop down.
  5.      Enter your password (if prompted).
  6.      Click on Continue.
  7.      Click Join with Video.

Starting this week, the Apprenticeship Programs of IBEW LU 294 and LU 242 will be offering upcoming Continuing Education classes through an online meeting platform called ZOOM.  ZOOM is accessible via your cell phone, iPad or tablet, or on your personal computer (either mac or pc).  Classes are delivered via video, so you will need to have a camera, microphone and speakers to participate. Luckily, most cell phone, tablets, and laptops come with those features built in.
